It's about time for an update....

Well, in the past 3 weeks we have been to the park a few times thanks to the nice weather.
We had 2 funerals in one week (cody's grandpa and my uncle).
We have celebrated 5 years of marriage! We stayed at a hotel in South Bend and paid quite a bit of money to be able to SLEEP!!!
We found out that we have another niece or nephew in the oven (that makes our first niece due in Jan and the next baby due in May)
We celebrated Thanksgiving with Cody's sisters and parents.
We have learned that Cole freaks out when we turn on the fireplace and keeps waing his hands in the air saying, "ooohhhhhh" which is what he does when something is hot and he is not supposed to touch it, and it is quite comical!
I think that is the main events that have happened in the past few weeks. Enjoy the pictures!

We went to the Pumpkin patch and Cole was not really interested in the pumpkins, Go Figure. We did enjoy watching him run around!

There were goats at the pumpkin patch and he did not like them at all which is surprising he loves animals.... Cole loves to throw rocks in the pond, even though he really shouldn't because they are pretty landscaping rocks, he is so entertained by the splashes. I ,however, get so nervous because he does not fear the water at all. It is hard to play outside because he heads right to the ponds. It did make for some fun sction shots.....

Keep a diaper on your baby at all times.....

**What do you do when you find that the toilet overflows.... you run to find the plunger.

**What do you do with your naked baby squatting on the floor playing with your make up bag while you need to get a plunger from across the hall.... you shut him in the bathroom and run to get the plunger.

** What do you find when you get back.... a naked baby still squatting playing with your make up bag with a pile of poop under his booty.

This is the second time he has pooped while getting in or out of the shower... I need to get faster at clothing my son.

This is just hilarious, my brother got the great idea to give him a comb over:)
Climbing.....
Brave little boy!

Cole loves to climb. He is climbing up on random boxes mainly.


We have been going to a bible study and to MOTTS and I love both of them and Cole loves to play with all his friends. I am so proud of him he doesn't cry and I honestly don't know if he wants to come home with me.

Cole's newest obsession is to wear our sunglasses. He knows that he looks cool:) He likes to pull them off and then try to put them back on....
In an effort to be "fun parents" we took Cole to the splash pad. He loves splashing in the water and so this would make a perfect "fun" outing with his "fun" parents... however, this is all he wanted to do.... play with the park bench. Go figure:)
Cole is also sticking his tongue out in an effort to concentrate harder. He was having fun in this bounce house but it was very hard for him to stay on his feet.

Some things never change

Friday afternoon Cody left for the Ball State game, he would be home saturday afternoon. So, I decided that Cole and I would have fun hanging out by ourselves (and with mom and dad on friday night) WEll, things did not go as planned. I went to bed Friday night with my stomach feeling not so good. Well, early saturday morning me I was throwing up, it was only 4 times. Although, I did not feel like puking my stomach still did not feel that great and I had a fever. Which, is what Cole had two nights earlier ( I have joined the mom's club, I got puked on twice!)
So, I called mom and asked her if she could watch Cole for me so I didn't have to chase after him. She gladly took him with her to run errands. So, I was able to take a bath in their Jacuzzi tub and lay around all day in my PJ until she came home and then mom fed him lunch and then he took a nap. Cody came home then so I was able to sleep for a long time.
I had to just laugh looking back on it.

I asked my mom if I felt warm, I asked her to take care of Cole, I laid on her bed in my jammies. I may be 25 but I still need my mom! Someday maybe I will grown up:) Then again, maybe not.

Body Boot Camp!

So... I have joined a workout group with some other girls and we have a personal trainer who works with us. We start at 5:30 in the morning 5 days a week. I will be thrilled to go 3-4. This is only day 2 and I am so sore, I can't even bend over because my abs hurt so bad and my legs and booty and arms are also just as bad. I feel like for 50 minutes we are either push up position or a squat position. This is what I needed though, I can go there and get back home so that Cody can leave for work. It is actually at Cody's work (Laidig Systems) that we work out. Anyways, that is all that has been going on in my mind because everytime I move I am reminded of my good morning:) Anyways, blah blah blah.....
